Recap of yesterday's NBA games
Miami Heat at New York Knicks
Close match was played in Madison Square Garden last night, the Knicks again without their superstar center Stoudemaire and point guard Jeremy Lin. But Carmelo is carrying his team by himself. He had game-high 42 points with 9 rebounds and 5 assists, but it wasn't enough to beat the Heat. Final score 93-85.
Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Lakers
Kobe Bryant didn't play again as the Lakers faced the Mavericks. But he was
on the bench and did a little bit of coaching. And his teammates managed
again to win without him playing. Los Angeles Lakers are now playing
more as a team and everyone contributes. The Lakers won at home 112-108 in
overtime
Boston Celtics at Charlotte Bobcats
Easy win for the Celtics. Rondo again with double digit assists (16). Final
score: 94-82
Toronto Raptors at Atlanta Hawks
For me kinda surprising win for the Raptors. DeRozan had a team high 23 points. Game-high 26 points for J. Smith.
Chicago Bulls at Detroit Pistons
Rose is looked better as he ties the game with his 3 pointer and the end of
fourth quarter. In overtime the Bulls scored 14 points while Detroit only 8.
Final score 100-94. Rose had 24 points.
Orlando Magic at Cleveland Cavaliers
The Magic still without Dwight Howard are not so good
defensively in the paint and that should be the advantage for the Cavaliers with Jamison
playing. But this wasn’t the case Jamison had a game-high 21 points, but It
wasn’t enough to beat Orlando. Final score: 100-84. Nelson: 21 points and 9
assists.
Portland Trailblazers at Sacramento Kings
Close match in Sacramento yesterday. Thornton hits the jumper with 3.4s to go and the Kings won 104-103.
Memphis Grizzlies at New Orleans Hornets
The Hornets proved again that they're very strong at home, as they beat the
Grizzlies 75-88. Gordon had a team-high 18 points.
Houston Rockets at Denver Nuggets
Same story here. Denver is pretty good at home lately and they won smoothly
86-101. Afflalo had a game-high 20 points.
